Earthquake in Iran Felt in Armenia
On October 23, at 10:05 AM (GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 at geographic coordinates 38.38° North latitude and 45.25° East longitude, 31 km southeast of the city of Khoy, Iran, at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral area was recorded at 5-6 points. The earthquake was felt in the cities of Kapan, Kajaran, Meghri, and Agarak in the Syunik region, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
