Bundestag Representative to Meet with Armenian Authorities in Yerevan
The chair of the German Bundestag's Foreign Affairs Committee, Michael Roth, is in Yerevan. He will have meetings with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, and the chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Sargis Khandanyan. He announced this on his microblog on X.
“Welcome to Yerevan. Raise the flag for young democracy, for peace, and territorial integrity. Today you will begin negotiations with state leaders, including Alen Simonyan, Nikol Pashinyan, and Sargis Khandanyan,” Roth wrote.
He also noted that he will meet with representatives of Armenian civil society, think tanks, and the press.
