Alen Simonyan and German Parliament Member Discuss Necessity of Sanctions Against Azerbaijan
The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Bundestag, Michael Roth, addressed the meeting with the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, highlighting the issues arising from the ethnic cleansing policies of Baku that have led to the depopulation of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by the press service of the National Assembly.
Michael Roth stated that insufficient measures have been taken by their side to prevent Azerbaijani aggression against the population of Nagorno-Karabakh. The parties discussed the necessity of imposing possible sanctions against Azerbaijan.
The President of the National Assembly of Armenia reaffirmed that Armenia has adopted a peace agenda and is proposing a roadmap for regional peace.
