Russia to Convene UN Security Council Meeting on Palestine-Israel Issue – Polyanskiy
Russia will convene a new United Nations Security Council meeting regarding the Palestine-Israel conflict. This was stated by Dmitry Polyanskiy, the First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, during a broadcast on "Solovyov Live."
It is noteworthy that this week the UN Security Council was unable to adopt resolutions proposed by Russia and later Brazil.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that it was preparing for the next phase of military operations, which will also include ground operations.
According to the latest data, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 4,000, while the number of Israeli civilian casualties stands at 1,000. Various estimates indicate that Hamas has taken around 250 people hostage.
