Video: Crowds Storm Israeli Consulate in Istanbul

Following the attack on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, thousands of Turkish citizens took to the streets holding Palestinian flags. Citizens gathered in protest in front of the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul, as reported by Anadolu Agency.

While some demonstrators threw eggs at the consulate building, the Israeli flag was set on fire in the area. Among the crowd, some attempted to breach the security barriers surrounding the consulate. According to media reports, some protesters managed to invade the consulate premises. A scuffle broke out between the police and the group, with security forces using tear gas to disperse the crowd.
