"Ukraine's Non-Aligned Status Is Extremely Important for Russia," Says Putin

“Russia considers Ukraine's non-aligned status to be extremely important because it is impossible to build the security of certain countries while undermining that of others,” stated Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with China Media Corporation.

“The security of certain countries cannot be constructed on the basis of undermining the security of others; security must be the same for everyone. In this regard, Ukraine's non-aligned status is extremely important for us,” Putin added.
