NATO Provides Assistance to Israel, but is Not a Party to the Conflict: Stoltenberg
NATO allies are providing assistance to Israel in its operations against Hamas, but the alliance is not directly involved in the conflict, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has stated.
“NATO allies strongly condemn Hamas attacks and call for the release of all hostages. Israel has the right to defend itself, and it is necessary to protect civilians. Allies have made it clear that they will provide practical support to Israel,” Stoltenberg said.
“Nevertheless, NATO is not a part of the conflict and is not involved in the conflict,” he added.
