52,600 Displaced Persons Have Already Received 100,000 Dram in Assistance
"We are providing 100,000 dram payments to displaced persons, regardless of age, without exception. The only exceptions are those who are not in Armenia," announced Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan during a government meeting.
According to him, transfers have already been made to the card accounts of 52,600 individuals. "By the end of this week, tomorrow, an additional 13,500 will be added to this number," he reported.
According to Khachatryan, payments will be made to 85,000 to 90,000 displaced citizens by the end of next week. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that this will depend on how quickly people apply to open bank accounts and cards.
