Israel Strikes Home of Al-Qassam Brigades Commander, Family Members Killed
The house of Mohammed Deif, commander of the military wing of the Palestinian Al-Qassam Brigades, has been targeted in an airstrike conducted by the Israel Defense Forces, resulting in the deaths of his close relatives, Haaretz reports.
"Israel's defense forces attacked the home of Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif in Khan Younis, killing his father, brother, children, and other relatives," the publication states.
No information has been provided regarding the fate of the commander himself. Prior to this incident, the Israel Defense Forces' press service reported that soldiers had struck more than 200 targets in the Al-Furkan area of the Gaza Strip.
