Gaza Residents Stand in Line for Hours for Bread
Residents of Gaza City are standing in line for hours to obtain bread, with roads destroyed and pharmacies non-operational, reports a РИА Новости correspondent. Palestinians describe the ongoing military escalation over the last few days as the 'heaviest war' they have experienced.
'The situation is severe; there are long lines at bakeries. My father needs medication, but all the pharmacies in the city are closed. We’ve been looking for an open pharmacy for an hour. This is our heaviest war, and these are just the first days,' said one local who has been waiting in line at a bakery with dozens of others.
