VIDEO: Another case of illegal migration uncovered and prevented by NSS

The National Security Service of Armenia has uncovered another instance of illegal migration organization as a result of complex operational and investigative measures taken by its counterintelligence and investigative departments.

Specifically, as a result of evidential and other procedural actions conducted, it has been established that a resident of Yerevan, identified as A.M., and the director of "Progressive Knowledge" LLC, R.M., in preliminary agreement and as a group, acted for profit. Between February and April 2023, they extorted and received $15,000 each from Armenian citizens G.S. and R.P. to organize their illegal migration, specifically to obtain permission for entry and stay in the United States.

To ensure the proper documents for entry and stay in the U.S., they included in the document packages various fake documents attesting to employment and salary levels, as well as information regarding completing educational institutions and receiving qualifications, which were subsequently handed over to the aforementioned individuals. They, in turn, presented these documents to the competent authorities operating within the territory of Armenia.

During the pre-trial investigation, searches were conducted at the residences of R.M., A.M., and individuals using their services, as well as at the workplace, which is a tourist organization.
