Over 4000 Injured from Both Sides: 700 Israelis and Over 400 Palestinians Killed
According to the Israel Defense Forces, more than 700 Israelis have been killed and 2,150 injured since Saturday due to thousands of rockets fired by Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli settlements. This was reported by the BBC.
Palestinian authorities, in turn, report that 413 people in Gaza have died and 2,300 have been injured as a result of retaliatory strikes. In total, more than 4000 people have been injured from both sides.
The BBC, citing Israeli officials, notes that 3,284 rockets were fired from Gaza on Sunday evening (according to Hamas, more than 5,000).
It should be noted that at least 250 bodies have been discovered at a music festival site near the border with the Gaza Strip, according to the ZAKA organization, which is a volunteer rescue service.
Recall that on the early morning of October 7, Hamas militants began firing thousands of rockets at Israeli settlements from the Gaza Strip.
