VIDEO: Eyewitnesses Release Footage of Rocket Launches Toward Israel; Approximately 80 Injured

Eyewitnesses have released footage showing the launches of rockets toward Israel. The rocket barrage from the Gaza Strip began in the morning. During the first 20 minutes of the operation, 5,000 rockets and shells were fired at Israeli targets.

The Israel Defense Forces declared a "state of combat readiness" following the infiltration of militants into border areas from the Gaza Strip.

According to local media reports, approximately 80 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of the rocket attacks. Unofficial sources also report one fatality.
