600 Million Dram Allocated to Provincial Governments for Needs of Displaced Persons from Artsakh
The Government of Armenia has allocated 600 million drams from its reserve fund to provincial governments for the urgent acquisition of essential goods for individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh, as well as to reimburse hotel services. This decision was made during today's session of the Armenian government.
The distribution is as follows: 30 million drams each for the Aragatsotn and Shirak provinces, 100 million drams for the Ararat province, 50 million drams each for the Armavir, Gegharkunik, and Vayots Dzor provinces, 40 million drams for the Lori province, 140 million drams for the Kotayk province, 65 million drams for the Syunik province, and 45 million drams for the Tavush province.
It is worth noting that Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh on September 19, resulting in at least 200 casualties and over 400 injuries in just one day.
