4,145 Displaced Children from Artsakh Integrated into Educational Institutions in Armenia
Currently, 7,996 children aged 0-5 and 21,266 children aged 6-19 who have been forcibly displaced from Artsakh have been registered. The latest figures were presented by the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
“A total of 4,145 children have already been integrated into various educational institutions in Armenia. This represents approximately 20 percent of school-aged children. The distribution is as follows: 285 children in Syunik, 112 in Vayots Dzor, 179 in Gegharkunik, 758 in Ararat, 800 in Kotayk, 223 in Aragatsotn, 410 in Armavir, 177 in Shirak, 185 in Lori, 161 in Tavush, and 850 in Yerevan,” Baghdasaryan noted.
It is also worth mentioning that the number of forcibly displaced people from Artsakh has not changed, remaining at 100,625.
