Artsakh's Minister of Internal Affairs and a Group of Officials Continue to Stay in Artsakh
In these days, when the population of Artsakh has almost entirely relocated to the Republic of Armenia, a group of officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including Minister Karen Sargsyan, continue to remain in Artsakh, overcoming numerous difficulties. They are conducting search and rescue operations on a daily basis across several directions.
This information was shared by the spokesman of the organization, Hunan Tadevosyan: “This is an extremely challenging task, especially since the guides familiar with the location of those being searched are not in Artsakh. Furthermore, the disaster in the fuel storage on September 25 has complicated and doubled the workload.”
The team will remain operational as long as there are soldiers and civilians who fell during military operations, regarding whom there is currently no information available. The identified remains and body parts will be transported to Armenia for identification purposes through forensic examination.
