Alexei Navalny to Spend One Year in Solitary Confinement
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny will spend one year in solitary confinement. This is the strictest form of isolation in prisons, reports RTVI.
He was transferred there immediately after the appeal, due to being deemed "incorrigible." This was mentioned on the political figure’s Telegram channel.
"I continue to gather the acronyms from the 'Punishment' section of prison rules. Thus, I have a new cell and a new label on my back," he wrote.
