Peskov Responds to Reports on Kadyrov's Illness
The Kremlin has no information regarding the possible illness of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“We have no information. In any case, the presidential administration is unlikely to provide information about his health status. Therefore, we have nothing to say here,” Peskov responded to reporters when asked how concerned the Kremlin is about Kadyrov's condition.
Additionally, Peskov commented on reports that Kadyrov allegedly traveled to Moscow on Sunday, possibly to meet with Putin. “There have been no meetings with Putin,” Peskov replied.
It should be noted that earlier, unverified information circulated on various Telegram channels and media outlets claiming that Kadyrov had supposedly died at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Kremlin's Administrative Department. Prior to this, rumors had spread about his serious illness. Against this backdrop, Kadyrov posted a video of himself walking on Sunday and advised to breathe in fresh air to distinguish reality from rumors.
