Russian Ministry of Defense on the Situation in Nagorno-Karabakh
The Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out missions in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, according to a report from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"Russian peacekeepers at thirty observation posts are monitoring the situation and the maintenance of the ceasefire regime around the clock. In the last twenty-four hours, no violations of the ceasefire have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces. Patrols have been conducted along three routes in the Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions," the statement read.
To ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and to prevent possible incidents, ongoing cooperation is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
