No Change in Situation as of 13:50: Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense has issued a statement earlier today, stating: "As of 13:50, there is no change in the situation. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces continue firing at the directions of Sotk and Norabak using small arms and mortars. The Armenian Armed Forces are taking necessary defensive measures. The Ministry of Defense will issue additional statements as needed."

It is worth noting that earlier today the Ministry of Defense announced that the enemy, by spreading disinformation since August 31, created an informational basis for yet another provocation, commencing intensive fire at 07:50 on September 1 towards Armenian positions located in the Sotk area. Due to Azerbaijan's provocative actions, the Armenian side has reported 2 fatalities and one injury.

The Ministry of Defense had previously informed that the enemy is also using mortars.
