Switzerland to Provide Mine Clearance Equipment to Ukraine
Switzerland will transfer a remote-controlled mine clearance vehicle, a trailer truck, and spare parts to Ukraine in September, with a total value exceeding $1.35 million. This was reported by the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sports.
In June, Swiss authorities announced that since last summer, the country’s military has been supporting the humanitarian mine clearance training of Ukraine's civil authorities by organizing courses within the framework of the 'Partnership for Peace' program in collaboration with the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining.
