Toyota Camry Crashes into Concrete Barrier, Driver Dies
A Toyota Camry crashed into a concrete barrier at the beginning of the city of Ejmiatsin. On August 26, at 21:30, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Ejmiatsin highway, near the statue of Grigor Lusavorich, indicating that a vehicle had collided with a pillar and there was an injured person. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
A firefighting rescue squad from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a Toyota Camry (driver: M.G., born in 2000) crashed into the concrete barrier dividing the roadway.
The rescuers removed M.G. from the vehicle using special equipment, and emergency medical services confirmed his death.
