Russian Duma Proposes Renaming a Street in St. Petersburg in Honor of Prigozhin
The Russian State Duma has proposed to rename one of the streets in St. Petersburg in honor of Yevgeny Prigozhin. This initiative was put forward by Deputy Vasily Vlasov on his Telegram channel.
Vlasov stated that the head of the Wagner Group was a true hero, and his contributions cannot be measured in words. “His impact on various sectors of our country has left an indelible mark. Hence, I believe renaming a street in St. Petersburg in his honor would be a proper recognition of his work and merits,” wrote Vlasov.
In this regard, the deputy sent a letter requesting to rename Zolnaya Street in St. Petersburg in honor of Prigozhin.
