Armenian Team Wins 3 Medals at Grappling World Championship

The Armenian team has won 3 medals at the Grappling World Championship currently taking place in Warsaw, Poland. This information was reported by the press service of the Armenian Grappling Federation.

On August 22, in the U20 age group Gi format, we had three medalists: Spartak Mikayelyan won a gold medal, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan secured silver, and Tigran Ghazakhyan took home bronze.

It is also noted that Spartak Mikayelyan became the first Armenian grappler to win a gold medal at a world championship in the history of Armenian grappling.
