VIDEO: Armenian Authorities Should Not Consider Recognizing Artsakh as Part of Azerbaijan in Exchange for Opening Lachin Route, Oskenyan
During an emergency session of the UN Security Council, Azerbaijan may attempt to negotiate the opening of the Lachin corridor in exchange for recognizing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. This was stated today, August 15, by former Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskenyan during a live broadcast on Facebook.
“By bringing the issue to the UN Security Council, the Armenian delegation in New York must be able to control the entire process, ensuring that this issue does not slip out of Armenia’s hands. The positive expectation we have today regarding obtaining something favorable from the Council should not turn into another nightmare,” emphasized Oskenyan.
