Protest Outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Artsakh Residents Demand Opening of the Lachin Corridor
A group of Artsakh residents organized a protest today, August 7, in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They demanded that the government do everything possible to open the Lachin road, facilitate uninterrupted traffic through it, and protect the fundamental rights of the Artsakh people.
“We stand firm and will fight until our demands are met. Let’s be the catalysts for change together, advocates for justice, and defenders of the rights of all Armenians. We want to address the toothless statement made by Armenia's representative at the UN Security Council meeting. Yes, the call made to the UN and the Security Council is undeniably important; however, it was far from addressing the urgent issues faced by our compatriots in Artsakh. Armenia's toothless statements are not sufficient,” said one of the protesters.
They delivered a letter expressing these sentiments to the government.
