Former Mayor Appointed Deputy Minister of Defense
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed decisions today, August 3, one of which dismissed Hrachya Sargsyan from his position as an advisor to the Prime Minister.
By another decision, Sargsyan has been appointed to a new position: "According to Article 9, Part 1 of the Law on Public Service, Hrachya Sargsyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense."
It is noteworthy that Hrachya Sargsyan submitted his resignation from the position of Mayor of Yerevan on March 17.
