Video: "We must specify the cartographic basis for delimitation work," says Prime Minister
During a meeting in Brussels, the reaffirmation of territorial integrity by Armenia and Azerbaijan, recognizing each other’s 29,800 and 86,600 square kilometers, was among the discussed issues. This was stated today, on July 20, at a government meeting by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“The delimitation of borders must take place based on the 1991 Almaty declaration, and we must soon specify the cartographic basis for delimitation work,” he said.
Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that the opening of regional communications should take place based on the principles of the parties' sovereignty, jurisdiction, and equality.
Regarding humanitarian issues, the Prime Minister mentioned that Azerbaijan continues to violate the promises made to international partners on this topic. “But we must tirelessly continue our work on the return of captives and the clarification of the fate of missing persons,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
