Ukraine and Slovakia Agree to Jointly Produce 'Zuzana 2' Howitzers
Ukraine and Slovakia will jointly produce 'Zuzana 2' 155 mm caliber howitzers, a corresponding contract has been signed. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by TASS.
“A contract has been signed for the production of 16 units of 'Zuzana 2' self-propelled howitzers, and of course, we are working on other joint productions of artillery and shells. This is very important,” Zelensky said during a press conference with his Slovak counterpart Zuzana Čaputová.
Zelensky visited Slovakia for the first time on July 7, following the start of the special military operation. Earlier, he met Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala in Prague; the Czech leader promised military support to Kyiv, including helicopters.
