Turkey Cannot Approve Sweden's NATO Membership Like Before: Erdogan
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that Turkey can no longer approve Sweden's NATO membership due to the country's support for terrorists.
"We have supported the NATO open-door policy. We approved Finland's membership, but we cannot approve those who support terrorists. We expect Sweden to fulfill its commitments," Erdogan said.
He noted that he intends to discuss issues related to Sweden's NATO membership with partners at the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius.
