Macron Declares Order Restored in France Following Wave of Protests

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that the situation in the country has stabilized following protests triggered by the police killing of a teenager. Macron made this statement during a visit to the city of Pau in southwestern France, as reported by BFMTV.

According to the television channel, a calm atmosphere now prevails in the streets of French cities after several nights of unrest.

It is noteworthy that on the morning of June 27, police killed a 17-year-old teenager during a check on the Nantes road, who allegedly refused to comply with their demands. Following this incident, disturbances broke out in several cities across France.

According to the Ministry of Interior, throughout the country, young people set fire to approximately 12,000 vehicles, as well as buildings belonging to police and government authorities. More than four thousand people have been detained, with a significant number being minors.
