VIDEO. Yerevan Continues Transportation System Reforms, Launches 9 Routes at Once
In place of over 200 old "Gazelle" microbuses, approximately 100 buses will now serve residents. As of July 1, 9 routes have been launched simultaneously. This was reported by the press office of the Yerevan municipality.
"Yerevan continues to reform its transportation system, gradually making the implementation of the project realistic. Notably, separate lanes have been changed on the updated routes. By September, there will be no more 'Gazelles' in Yerevan routes. A total of 363 microbus units will be completely replaced by buses," the statement said.
