If We Lose Our Influence in Armenia, It Will Be a Disaster – Head of Rossotrudnichestvo

If we lose our influence in Luxembourg, it will certainly be unpleasant, but if we lose our influence in Armenia, it will be a disaster. This was stated by Evgeny Primakov, the head of Rossotrudnichestvo, in an exclusive interview with Sputnik in Russian.

He emphasized the importance of transferring the organization's resources to neighboring countries and added that these countries are much more of a priority for Russia than Western nations.

“If we lose our influence in Luxembourg, it will certainly be unpleasant, but if we lose our influence in Armenia, it will be a disaster,” he said.

He noted that the number of employees in Rossotrudnichestvo's representative offices in neighboring countries has increased. The number of Russian language courses has also risen. According to him, the classrooms are fully packed as people are eager to learn the language.
