Terror Attack in Uganda, School Targeted; 25 Dead

Militants linked to the Islamic State (a banned terrorist organization in Russia) have carried out a terrorist attack in Uganda, resulting in the death of at least 25 people. The information was published on the Twitter page of the Ugandan police.

“25 bodies have been recovered from the school and transported to Bwera Hospital. There are another 8 injured individuals in critical condition,” the police stated, without specifying how many of the victims were students.

Law enforcement officials have pursued the attackers, who fled towards the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to the French Press Agency, all 25 victims were students.
