Protest Held in Italy Against Arms Supply to Kyiv

A group of Italian activists from the 'Veneto-Russia' association and the 'Verona for Freedom' public committee held a protest against the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine. This was reported by РИА Новости.

The demonstration took place near the ancient Roman Arena di Verona amphitheater.

“We have come to say no to NATO's murderous policies and to support Russia,” said Palmarino Zocattelin, president of the 'Veneto-Russia' association. According to him, the goal of the protesters is to show that not all residents of Italy support the current government's policies regarding the Ukrainian conflict. He stated that sending weapons to Ukraine serves to continue the conflict.

Zocattelin believes that the issue should be resolved through negotiations.
