Armenia National Team Lacks a Leader Like Mkhitaryan, Says Berozovski

The former goalkeeper of the Armenia national team, Roman Berozovski, who currently works as a goalkeeping coach for the national squad, discussed the absence of a leader in the Armenian team.

“Of course, the Armenia national team lacks a leader like Mkhitaryan. Every team needs such a player, especially our team. The mere presence of a star like him on the field means a lot to us. The opponent starts to show a bit more respect towards the team.”

“Who can take on this burden over time? Right now, we have some excellent young players. We are placing great hopes on Edik Spertsyan and Nair Tiknizyan,” Berozovski said in an interview with a Чемпионат correspondent.
