Azerbaijan is Interested in Sotk for Both Mine and Strategic Positions, Tigran Abrahamyan

“Due to Azerbaijan’s aggressive actions, the Sotk mine has not been operational for a month now. The Azerbaijanis have done everything to hinder the mine's operations,” stated Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the parliamentary faction ‘I Have Honor’ on his Facebook page.

He noted that some of the military positions pass through the mine area, where both Armenian and Azerbaijani sides have positions in the vicinity.

“The Sotk direction is of interest to Azerbaijan for both the mine and strategic positions. Azerbaijan’s adventurism should be prevented in this phase and beyond,” Abrahamyan wrote.

It should be reminded that this morning, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire towards the Armenian positions in the Sotk area.
