Yerevan and Baku Confirm Willingness to Meet in Moscow: Maria Zakharova
Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that "the well-known Azerbaijani-Georgian negotiations are taking place with the involvement of another country, rather than Russia. Accordingly, it is necessary to be interested in the direct participants regarding the process of these negotiations," in response to questions about the negotiations between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.
The Russian official noted that Moscow will comment on these negotiations only after the statements of the parties following the meeting results.
“As for the prospects of holding a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Russia, we have already spoken about this. Yerevan and Baku have confirmed their willingness to hold this meeting in Moscow. The date of the meeting will be announced later,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
