Only Exceptionally Allowed the Flight of Alen Simonyan's Airplane. Cavusoglu

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has clarified the reason for closing Turkish airspace to Armenian airplanes.

Cavusoglu stated that it is unacceptable for Turkey that those who killed Turks and Azerbaijanis in the 1920s are glorified in Armenia and commemorative monuments are erected. He threatened that if such actions continue, Turkey will take additional measures against Armenia, in addition to closing its airspace.

“We have only exceptionally allowed the flight of the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, as he has to participate in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation event. If Armenia continues in this way and does not remove the monument, we will take further steps,” said Cavusoglu.

It is noteworthy that days ago, a monument dedicated to the Nemesis operation was opened in Yerevan.
