The press secretary of Ukraine's president, Serhiy Nikiforov, told the BBC that Kyiv's goal is to liberate occupied territories, not to attack Moscow.

“We have no information regarding the so-called nighttime attacks on the Kremlin; however, as President Zelensky has repeatedly stated, Ukraine directs all available forces and resources to liberate its own territories, rather than attacking others,” the Ukrainian official said.

According to Nikiforov, the terrorism is marked by the destruction of homes in Dnipro and Uman, “and what happened in Moscow clearly escalates the situation ahead of May 9.”

Earlier, it was reported that, according to the Russian side, Ukraine attempted to strike the Kremlin overnight.
