Erdogan's Administration Denies Turkish Leader Suffered a Heart Attack
Erdogan's administration has denied reports that he suffered a heart attack. This announcement was made by the center for combating misinformation within the Turkish leader's administration.
"Claims that the president has suffered a heart attack and has been hospitalized are not true. The country's leader will participate in the ceremony for the first fuel loading at the Akkuyu nuclear power plant, which will take place on Thursday via live broadcast," the center reported on Twitter.
Turkey's Vice President Fuat Oktay, in turn, stated that Recep Tayyip Erdogan is experiencing a "mild cold." The Turkish leader has canceled several campaign events on the advice of his doctors. Earlier, during a live broadcast, Recep Tayyip Erdogan had appeared unwell.
