Kyiv Will Not Compromise on Territory for Peace: Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated after a phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping that Kyiv will not make territorial compromises in the pursuit of peace. This was reported by RT, noting that the relevant statement was shared on the Ukrainian leader's Telegram channel.
“There can be no peace at the expense of territorial compromises,” Zelensky emphasized.
He also stated that, according to Kyiv, Ukraine's territorial integrity must be restored within its 1991 borders.
Previously, Ukrainian presidential spokesperson Serhiy Nikiforov announced that Kyiv and Beijing's peace plans had found common ground. He clarified that both Kyiv and Beijing share the same position regarding the non-use and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
