Why Was It Allowed for Armed Forces to Approaching Armenian Positions in Large Numbers? Abrahamyan
The deputy of the ARF "Honorary Duty" faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page:
“The video released by the Ministry of Defense has raised numerous questions. On one hand, it records the incident provoked by Azerbaijan, but on the other hand, it reveals issues that have been troubling the armed forces for the past 2-3 years.
Who issued the command to negotiate on positional issues with the Azerbaijanis? Why was it allowed for armed Azerbaijanis to approach Armenian positions in large numbers?
Has the government not learned a lesson after the post-war situations in 2021 and 2022, where similar scenarios with the Azerbaijanis led to severe human and territorial consequences? Because of the irresponsible decisions made by the government, our servicemen are again caught in the line of fire, resulting in 4 fatalities and 6 injuries, one of which is in extremely serious condition.
The bitter fruits of the government's political decisions are being reaped by our servicemen, who, through their self-sacrifice, are trying to rectify the criminal inaction of the authorities.”
It should be noted that on April 11, around 16:00, Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on Armenian servicemen who were conducting engineering work in the Tegh community. As a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side has 4 fatalities and 6 injuries.
