Direct communications between Baku and Yerevan suspended: Bayramov
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has announced that direct communications between Baku and Yerevan have been suspended due to Armenia's "unconstructive position" in the process of normalizing relations.
This was stated during a press conference following a meeting with the current OSCE Chairperson.
However, on the same day, the president of the adversary country seemingly contradicted the official, stating that the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia is being conducted in two directions. "The first direction is the reintegration of the Armenian population of the Karabakh region, the second is the negotiations with Armenia regarding a peace treaty and normalization of relations," said Ilham Aliyev.
