Azerbaijan's Policy is Not New: Marukyan Makes a Statement
Azerbaijan has once again violated Armenia's territorial integrity with provocations in the village of Tegh, continuing its series of attacks. Armenian Ambassador-at-Large Edmon Marukyan highlighted this in a recent statement:
“The provocation carried out by Azerbaijan is another violation of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia. Azerbaijan's policy is not new; it continues the pattern of attacks against the Republic of Armenia that occurred in May and November of 2021, as well as in September 2022, resulting in Azerbaijan occupying Armenian sovereign territories,” wrote Marukyan on Twitter.
He also posted a video released by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, showing how Azerbaijani servicemen approached Armenian military personnel, who were engaged in engineering works, and opened fire on them.
As a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side has reported 4 fatalities and 6 injuries.
