Damaged Scissors Found with MP Mher Sahakyan

In the Permanent Commission on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly, a search has revealed damaged scissors belonging to the detained MP from the 'Armenia' faction, Mher Sahakyan, following an incident with Vladimir Vardanyan. This information was reported by Radar Armenia.

The media learned from testimonies related to the criminal case that the MPs from the 'Armenia' faction stated that Sahakyan broke the scissors while making tense and nervous movements while speaking with them after the incident.

It was also reported that Mher Sahakyan refused to undergo a forensic examination aimed at determining the presence of drugs, narcotic substances, and alcohol.

It is noteworthy that on March 31, 2023, an unwanted incident occurred at the end of a closed working discussion in the Permanent Commission on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly, which included only MPs and a representative of Armenia on international legal matters.
