«Better to Give a Slightly Longer Timeline Than to Promise and Not Deliver»: Avinyan
The opening of the construction competition for the alternative road connecting Nork-Marash administrative district to Saralanj is scheduled for May 2. This was reported by Khoren Grigoryan, the acting head of the Construction and Urban Development Department, during a City Hall working meeting.
Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan inquired why the announcement of the competition had been delayed. “This is not just medium renovation but rather major reconstruction work. The entire road project should have been executed, hence the delay. As for the construction timeline, the earthworks will take about 1.5 months, concerning approximately 1.5 km of road. We have a specific section that is mainly on the slope, and we will have problematic issues in that area,” Grigoryan mentioned.
Avinyan urged caution and attention regarding timelines: “It’s better to give a slightly longer timeline than to promise and not deliver.”
