Chinese Army Ready to Support Russian Armed Forces

The spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Defense, Tan Kefei, has announced that the Chinese army is prepared to support the Russian armed forces in order to uphold international justice and fairness and to contribute to security and stability. This is reported by Vesti.

He also emphasized the effectiveness of the joint naval exercises "Maritime Security Zone 2023" conducted by Russia, China, and Iran, which took place in the Gulf of Oman from March 15 to 19. The exercises involved 12 ships.

According to the defense ministry spokesman, the naval exercises have enhanced the capabilities of the naval forces of the three countries, contributed to the protection of maritime security, and further strengthened the relations among the three nations.

It is worth noting that last week, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, visited Russia. He stated that the purpose of the visit was to reinforce peace, friendship, and cooperation.
