We Hope That Existing Disputes Between Baku and Tehran Are Temporary: Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, after negotiations with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, addressed the media at a joint press conference regarding Iran-Azerbaijan relations.

“We hope that the existing disputes between Baku and Tehran are temporary and will be resolved as soon as possible,” Lavrov stated.

He also noted that the resolution of issues between Tehran and Baku would contribute to the promotion of trilateral cooperation between Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan.

“We are ready to assist our friends in resolving the existing problems,” said the Russian Foreign Minister.
