What is the Solution: Vardan Voskanyan Outlines Necessary Actions
If someone thinks that the recently occupied territory from the Republic of Artsakh is literally very far away and that nothing threatens the safety of them and their family, then they are gravely mistaken. This was stated by Iranian studies expert Vardan Voskanyan on his Facebook page.
“It should be remembered that the enemy's vile goal is not only Artsakh, Syunik, or Gegharkunik, but practically all of Armenia without exception. Therefore, yet another seemingly 'insignificant' section of occupied Armenian land in Artsakh has brought the barbarians that much closer to all our yards and homes.
What is the solution? In short, everything should be done for the security of Armenia and Artsakh and for the weakening and subsequent defeat of the enemy. If we do not recognize, especially at the level of national elites, that we need to build, metaphorically speaking, a state-fortress where everything must be aimed at ensuring security, we will sadly undermine not only the centuries-old program of Armenian statehood but also put the very physical existence of the Armenian people into question.”
